Following the announcement that the Old Firm Scottish Cup semi final will take place on Sunday 30th April we have taken the decision to postpone the start of Stephen Dobbie’s Testimonial events.

 

After discussions we feel that the kick off time of the cup tie would have a serious impact on the crowd that we would get at Palmerston and that would be unfair to Stephen.  The television coverage may well also result in some of the Scotland squad being unavailable.

 

The committee are gutted and we totally understand the disappointment it may cause but I’m sure you will all agree Stephen deserves the best opportunity possible.

 

A new date will be confirmed in due course once the fixtures for next season have been published.

 

Tickets that have already been purchased will be valid for the new date.

 

Given the Testimonial match has been postponed the pre-match Q&A night scheduled for the Saturday night has also been cancelled.
