The Under 17s picked up their first league win this evening with a crushing victory over Falkirk at Palmerston.  William Salfenmoser was the star of the game scoring SIX goals.

The boys held a very comfortable half time lead as Salfenmoser scored five in the first half. The Bairns scored twice before they were reduced to ten men and Lewis White added a sixth.

Not so many goals after the interval but Salfenmoser found the net again to score his sixth, Queens seventh of the night.  The visitors had to see the game out with nine men after they had a second player sent off for violent conduct.

Coach Ross Newlands said “I am really pleased for the boys, their first half performance was excellent and they went on and controlled the second half too. It has been a tough start to the campaign but they have never shied away from the challenge and I’m delighted they’ve picked up their first win in some style.”

The boys are without a league game next week but some of them may be involved in the club’s Scottish Cup game away at Auchinleck Talbot next Friday.
