We have our penultimate KDM Evolution Trophy league match tomorrow when we head West and back to Stair Park to take on Stranraer.
The two sides faced each other in the Premier Sports league cup at the end of July when Aaron Quigg scored the only goal of the game on the hour mark to earn the hosts the victory and bragging rights. The Blues have had a disappointing first quarter in the league and sit 9th in league two.
Looking ahead to the match tomorrow, Manager Peter Murphy said, “Although the game was scrappy and the goal came very late, we were pleased to get back to winning ways against Alloa last weekend. The result has lifted confidence. This weekend we head back to Stranraer, where we felt that we didn’t do ourselves justice earlier in the season. Although Stranraer haven’t had a great time in the league, they have been doing well in this competition and it’s a derby so there will be added spice, but we will go through there looking for the win to pick up points to get us through.”
