Youth Teams
Victory for U19s in Friendly

Nov 12 2025 22:33

It was a comfortable win for the under 19s at Palmerston tonight as they beat Newton Stewart 5-1 in a friendly.

After playing the second half for the first team last night, Billy Gray was part of the side and his first half double had Queens two up at the interval.

Captain, Taylor Davidson, Matty Hall and Callum Hill were all on target after the break.

Coach Eddie Warwick said “It was a good exercise for both squads who rotated their starting eleven.  It was a chance for the players to get minutes in their legs and it keeps everyone ticking over.  There was some good build up play for our goals, so it was an all round good evening.”

The boys return to league business on Sunday with an away game at Montrose.
