The under 19s also had a CAS league game today when they took on Elgin City and like the younger group picked up a good victory when they beat Elgin City by five goals to one.

Caiden Baty got them off to a good start with an 11th minute opener before a double from Billy Gray in the space of three minutes had them three goals in front after twenty minutes. Josh Kelly added a fourth fifteen minutes later before Elgin reduced the deficit to make it four-one at the break.

With twenty minutes of the game remaining, Kayden Reilly scored to round off the scoring.

Coach, Eddie Warwick said “We were very low on numbers today, for different reasons, we travelled with just eleven players but individually to a man the boys were great so we are delighted with the character and effort shown. We were superb in the final third and our goals were full of quality.”

The boys next game is away to Edinburgh City on Tuesday night.
