Queens 17s travelled to Alloa this evening (Friday) for their third game in eight days.
Both teams struggled to get to grips with the game early on but Lewis White latched onto a slack pass from the home defender to open the scoring and give Queens the lead. Alloa soon equalised from a corner to make it one all at the break.
The second half was better and Queens upped their quality both in and out of possession. They deservedly took the lead through top goalscorer William Salfenmoser, as he headed home a White cross following a strong run from Logan McKenzie.
Queens kept up the pressure and they rounded off the scoring when White's corner found itself in the back of the net despite a number of players on the goal line.
Full Time: Alloa 1 Queens 3
Coach Ross Newlands said “It was a poor first half but the players can be proud of their second half performance. It was another good win on the road in what’s been a tough run of games for the boys.”
