Queens 17s welcomed St Johnstone to NWCC looking to improve on a 5-0 defeat to Inverness last week. The visitors started better and were comfortable in possession, missing a couple of chances inside the opening 20 minutes. But Queens upped their work rate and finished the half the stronger side.

After a goal-less first half, it was a chaotic start to the second half and five goals in the opening eight minutes saw Queens lead by three goals to two.

St Johnstone opened the scoring after 90 seconds of the restart, with Lewis White equalising 60 seconds later. Within a minute and a half, the hosts took the lead through William Salfenmoser, however, they were thwarted within the same playing minute, when St Johnstone equalised.

Two minutes of "calm" followed before a cross from Dylan Craig was somehow knocked into the net by the visiting keeper, although Craig was accredited with the goal.

Queens kept up the pressure looking to put the game to bed, however, they were hit with a sucker punch in the 90th minute. The visiting attacker latching onto a through ball and lofting it over Isaac Scott to share the points.
