On the eve of the league campaign, we can confirm the arrival of Ruari Ellis and Cole Coughlin to Palmerston.

The two players join us as we make use of our cooperation loan agreement with Kilmarnock.

Nineteen-year-old, centre back Ruari joined the Rugby Park club three years ago from Motherwell and made his competitive first team appearance against Peterhead in the Premier Sports Cup. While 18-year-old, striker Cole was listed as a substitute in their line-up for the game against Hamilton.

Manager Nicky Clark said “We are delighted that Cole and Ruari have joined us, they are both academy players but have been in and around the first team at Kilmarnock. Both players have huge potential and will really help us out. Ruari is diverse as he can play in midfield as well as at the back. While, Cole is a hard-working striker who is fast and can finish. Again, we are thankful to have the agreement in place with Kilmarnock and I’m excited to these players to work with.”
